Ok everybody. We are closing in on the final trim and build for the dojo space. I’ll be posting some more pictures and setting up a construction gallery after this weekend, I think.

Now here’s the important thing. We will have a work party for anyone interested on this coming Sunday, Dec. 10th; kicking off at 9am. I know that’s early and if you want to help and can’t make it then, please give the dojo number (281-786-0293) a call to see if we’ve finished or still need some help. We’ve got some trim work to do to finish out the shomen wall, some trim around doors and such, and then we are going to move the lounge area furniture and install carpet (lay down on velcro and cut to fit is all). The final touch will be rearranging (cleaning out) the dressing rooms and installing racks for hangers and bags. And I’ll accept any help with good steady hands in finishing cutting the last mats to finish out the practice space… that’s a tedious, careful job, let me tell you.
